WorldViewBender.com is an effort to post a large collection of my photographs that I have taken during my travels from childhood until today. ViewFromSyria.com is a concurrent effort to write a blog about my experiences while I was in Syria on a Fulbright Fellowship (fall 2006-fall 2007). Finally, WorldViewPhotography.com is my site to exhibit my fine art photographs.
I welcome email inquires about purchasing photographs, although it may be a while until I get setup to begin to turn my hobby into something more.
The photographs on these pages are both digital images taken with a Nikon D70, Canon A520, Canon A70, and Olympus Z2020, and scans from prints (I didn’t go fully digital until 2004). The variation in image quality is a result of these different formats.
Depending on one’s definition of a country, I have traveled to roughly 45 countries. In each I have tried to photograph it in a way that it at once fair while still being honest, and respectful without being timid. I hope this effort is clear in the posted images.
